Services Reach provides include: VOCATIONAL SERVICES: Supported Employment Program — Reach Work Services Specialists assist people served to gain and maintain employment in the community. Currently about 92% of the people Reach serves have community jobs, compared to a national average of 25 - 34% for similar agencies. Labor Services — Labor Services is a work force of people served by Reach who are either not currently employed in the community or who work in Labor Services in addition to their community jobs. Labor Services completes assembly work, production tasks and mailings for many local businesses. Reach staff assist the workers with learning the skills they need to complete the work and to develop job skills needed for community employment. Intensive Day Services — This program offers daytime services to adults with intensive medical and self-help needs. These individuals have the opportunity to work in Supported Employment or Labor Services, to participate in need-driven therapy, to enjoy leisure activities, and to learn daily living skills. Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) — Reach contracts with the Vocational Rehabilitation Program of Montana to provide a wide variety of vocational services to their clients. Reach assists with interviewing skills, resume preparation, performing a job search, on-the-job-training, and long term follow along. RESIDENTIAL SERVICES: Supported Living — People served in supported living typically live in their own apartments, and staff spend, on average, about 5 hours a week with each person. Staff provide supports to meet the specific needs of each individual. These supports can include health, safety, independent living, banking, budgeting, bill paying, and community integration skills. Transitional Living — This program offers daytime and evening on-site staffing to individuals who live in the Reach owned, North Tracy and South 15th, apartment complexes. There, staff provide supports that include health, safety, independent living, banking, budgeting, bill paying, housekeeping, and community integration skills. Individuals receiving this service must be independent in their evening and morning routines. Regular Group Homes (2) — Reach has two regular adult group homes in Bozeman, which offer 24-hour staffing. Staff members assist people served in achieving their individual goals which can include housekeeping skills, meal planning and preparation, money management, interpersonal relations, and community integration. Intensive Group Homes (2) — Reach provides 24-hour services to people with medical needs and low self-help skills at two homes in residential Bozeman neighborhoods. Skill Training and high staff-to-client ratios exist in these homes, where individuals may need more support to achieve their goals. OTHER: Transportation — Reach provides transportation services to people served including rides to and from job sites, interviews, medical appointments and emergencies, shopping, banking, leisure and recreation as indicated by their individual needs. |
