| Job Summary |
This position is responsible for the health and safety and providing supervision for the clients in the home. Staff are responsible for assisting clients with their personal care, daily living needs, medications, meals, recreational and community activities. Although staff is allowed to sleep during part of their shift, they are required to be awake and attend to client needs as necessary. Cleaning and care of the home are also required duties. Other duties may be assigned. |
| Qualifications: |
Minimum of 18 years of age. Experience working with people with disabilities or a desire to work in the field. High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Additional education in the area of human services is preferred. Reach recognizes continuing education as a key point in self-improvement. Consideration will be given to applicants who have furthered their knowledge through college courses, seminars, workshops, specialized certifications or other training. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
