Reach Inc. employs our professional staff in a variety of positions, providing services to adults with developmental disabilities. Opportunities are typically available in both full-time and part-time positions. For all direct-care positions, the applicant is required to have a valid driver’s license, be an insurable driver, and pass a criminal background check within the guidelines of the state of Montana.

We provide 32 hours of extensive orientation and training, including general orientation, site-specific orientation, CPR, First Aid, behavior management, and training to drive our vehicles. We encourage our staff to pursue further training for career development through our Continuing Education Program.

Full-time employment with Reach comes with benefits that include vacation, sick, and personal paid time off, six paid holidays per year, retirement, health insurance, and a flex plan. Benefits are awarded after a probationary period of employment with the organization. In addition, full-time staff may opt to purchase dental, life, and supplemental insurance.

POSITION:  Floater

LOCATION:   Group Homes

FTE:  Full Time, 30 hours a week

HOURS:  Thurs, Fri 6a-9a, Sat 8a-12a, Sun 8a-4p

WAGE:  $11.92/hr plus benefits

SUPERVISOR:  Mary Christensen

JOB SUMMARY:  The Floater is responsible for the health and safety of Reach clients.  The Floater provides supervision and assists clients in the home or Work Center. The floater is responsible for their personal care, daily living needs, medications, meals, recreational and community activities. The main responsibility of this position is to work with clients with developmental disabilities.  Following PSP team objectives and helping the clients learn to be as independent as possible is the goal of all staff. It is also the responsibility of the Floater to keep clients involved in other activities when no paid work is available. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications: Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the job. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or a desire to work in the field is preferred. A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Reach recognizes continuing education as a key point in self-improvement. POSITION: Work Services Specialist

LOCATION: Reach Inc. Work Center

FTE: Full Time, 30 hours a week

HOURS: Mon-Fri 8a-3p (some schedule flexibility required based on client needs)

WAGE: $12.64/hr. plus benefits

JOB SUMMARY: The Work Services Specialist is responsible for providing skill training in both a work center and in community employment. Vocational Staff are responsible for the individuals on their caseloads as well as working as a team member by assisting others with clients when needed. Following Personal Support Plan objectives and helping the clients learn to be as independent as possible is the goal of the Work Services Specialist. On occasion staff are responsible for assisting clients with their personal care, daily living needs, medications, meals, recreational, and community activities. POSITION: Group Home Supervisor

LOCATION: N. 3rd Group Home

FTE: Full Time, 40 hours per week

HOURS: Mon-Fri 9a-6p (may have some flexibility)

WAGE: $14.21/hour plus benefits

JOB SUMMARY:  The Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the residence for adults with developmental disabilities. This includes the health, safety, cleanliness, and comfort of the individual receiving services, the treatment and training they receive, the condition, furnishings, and equipment of the home. The Supervisor supervises all staff that work in the residence. This includes posting positions, hiring, orienting, performance reviews, and any disciplinary action necessary. The Supervisor is responsible for insuring compliance with corporation policies, procedures, contractual and licensing obligations.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be of legal age to perform the functions of the job.  Bachelors degree in Human Services or related field preferred, 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and two years experience in a supervisory position or a combination of the three. The individual must have the ability to communicate clearly, be capable of supervising staff. PART TIME RESIDENTIAL RELIEF POSITIONS: 

Reach has several Relief Staff positions open.  Relief  staff assist clients in their homes and within the community.  Applicants are welcome to apply for more than one shift if desired. Please indicate which shift and house you are interested in on the application.
