Residential Aide Floater

LOCATION: Varies

FTE: Full time, 30 hours

HOURS: Wed 4-10p, Sat-Mon 4p-12a

SUPERVISOR: Sara Chobot

WAGE: $18.32/hour plus benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Vacation time, Paid Sick/Personal time, and 6 Paid Holidays per year.

JOB SUMMARY: The Floater is responsible for the health and safety of Reach clients. The Floater provides supervision and assists clients in the home. The floater is responsible for their personal care, daily living needs, medications, meals, recreational and community activities. The main responsibility of this position is to work with clients with developmental disabilities. Following PSP team objectives and helping the clients learn to be as independent as possible is the goal of all staff. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications: Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the job. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or a desire to work in the field is preferred. A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Reach recognizes continuing education as a key point in self-improvement. Consideration will be given to applicants who have furthered their knowledge through college courses, seminars, workshops, specialized certification or other training. The individual must pass a background check, have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Reach Inc.'s auto insurance, maintain a good driving record, and have a reliable means of transportation. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
